Description

No matter how much you love or hate your own artwork - Never toss it in the trash. What you're going to feel is nothing but deep regret...

Believe me - It's the worst feeling one can have as an artist.
No matter how much you hate a drawing of yours, always keep in mind that your artwork is soo very unique and special and that no one can ever make art in the way you do it.
This is what I wanted to express through this drawing.
That, even though it's gone and destroyed forever, you'll never forget it and it will run through your mind long enough. That's what the torn and crinkled paper, that's obviously staring at you, stands for. The high amount of black should stress the deep regret.

Special thanks to HQheart who's photograph Regret I was allowed to use as a reference.

The concept of this popped into my mind while drawing the eye, I couldn't forget it - that's why I gave it a try and I think it's not regrettable :giggle:

It is a really deep and thoughtful work you have made there. Truly, every piece of art, every doodle is worth keeping it.

It looks like the person is fully unaware of what is going to happen to her. You've managed to capture the feeling of despair in the eye.
You still could work a bit on anatomy but at this rate it does not affect the all in all impression of the work.
I was a little confused about the paper edges and folds. It took me a little time to figure out what it really is.
The composition and the whole impression are marvelous.
It is a splendid piece of art.

Keep up the good work!
